There is something about touching clay, a material very similar to mud, that takes us back to our childhood and helps us experience again the fun of playing. Play is perhaps the most authentic form of learning and if one can share this process along with others then one can learn under the best possible conditions. The roots of ceramics are deeply embedded in the history of mankind and through ceramics one rediscovers the pleasure of handmade objects and the excitement of being in a world of ancient and mysterious processes. Earth, fire and inspiration, guided by experience. The key is experience and the goal is to use this experience to free one's creativity. To make this possible the Studio d' Arte Ceramica offers a series of courses, both for the beginner who is taking up clay for the first time since childhood and the more experienced potter who wants specialized information about one or more aspects of ceramics.
